HAPPY MEAL TOYS

As Sr. Project Engineer, I managed the product development cost and schedule for over 100 unique Happy Meal toy SKUs per year, including plastic toys, plush, books, and other paper items
Conducted detailed cost analysis on early concepts and provided feedback to design team to refine designs before presenting to the client
Defined BOM, construction, and functional requirements and created detailed documentation.
Collaborated with internal design team and Asian suppliers to improve functionality, manufacturability, and cost of new designs
Met with clients and licensors to present concepts and prototypes and receive feedback and approval on designs

Created exploded views, color callouts, and BOMs for several lines of toys, including the Musical Submarine Playset (Preschool Toy of the Year nominee 2018), Magical Musical Bug Keeper Playset, and 3” articulated figures
Managed schedule, cost, and licensing approvals
Worked with the safety team to ensure safety and compliance
Collaborated with sculpting and creative teams, as well as factory engineers to ensure manufacturability and cost
